P-Badger Lab Psychiatric, Behavioral, Aging, and Dementia GEnomics Research

Sophie is a 4th year graduate student in the P-BADGER lab and the Behavioral, Psychiatric, and Statistical Genetics program. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Konstanz in Germany and her master’s degree at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Sophie’s work focuses on applying multivariate genomic methods to investigate genetic relationships between psychiatric disorders as well as their relationships with behavioral, health, and medical outcomes. Furthermore, she is interested in evaluating genetic similarities and differences between subtypes of psychiatric disorders. In her free time, Sophie can be found at the local climbing gym, the bike paths and hiking trails around Boulder, or at the brewery for trivia night.
